Narcisse Tordoir
The work Betoging (Protest) was made by Narcisse Tordoir as a final-year student at art school in 1976. A sense of tension and dissatisfaction concerning the institutions of power at the time certainly played a role in the choice of a protest-march photo from the newspaper as inspiration for this work.
