Narcisse Tordoir
After a period of having worked on a series on panel, represented in this exhibition by works including *Untitled* (1985) and *Untitled* (1986), Tordoir's oeuvre breaks through to a different phase. The continual presence of his son in the atelier makes him a subject in the father's art. By throwing paint over photographs, Tordoir thinks in formal terms of a new way of painting.
